Work on this is already in progress. There were quite a few changes in the upstream code going from 3.4.x to 3.5.x, so adjustments to the port need to be made.
The burden of a maintainer, I presume.
Take your time. IMO quite easy to drop a note, however quite a task to build a mature code from new upstream code updates more often than not.
BTW1: The a.m. NB (i.e. Nota Bene) was a BTW only, sorry.
