xfig @3.2.8b_2 figure looks fine onscreen but exports with horizontally stretched background

Description
Running Xfig 3.2.8b on my arm64 Mac, running Darwin Kernel Version 22.4.0 and connected to XQuartz 2.8.0_beta3 (xorg-server 1.19.7), the attached figure looks fine onscreen, but when exported to EPS or all other formats I could try, the included .eps background is stretched to the right. This is a regression bug that definitely did not happen long ago (the files had not changed when the bug first appeared).

MacPorts merely helps you install xfig; we are not its developers. Please report this problem to the developers of xfig so that they can fix it and release a fixed version, to which MacPorts can then update.
