Trying toi install openslide on macOS 14.1.1 (23B81) i get the following error

already tried to do all updates and re-install macport

Status: newclosed

There's something pretty basic wrong on your computer if you can't build a fundamental port like zlib. Likely causes might be not having Xcode or the Xcode command line tools installed, or having outdated versions of them that aren't compatible with Sonoma. Try reinstalling them, especially the CLT as ProblemHotlist#reinstall-clt explains. If you can't figure it out, please attach your main.log file and reopen the ticket.
