The line ...
patchfiles patch_eel-Makefile.in patch_eel-glib-extensions.c
... is missing from the eel Portfile so the patches do not get applied causing the build to fail due to _environ symbol being undefined.
The patch file patch_egg-screen-exec.c is no longer required as this file has been removed from the eel source.

Confirmed by reporter of 7026, too. port -f uninstall, port clean --all, port install worked with no complaints from port at all.
