A possible fix to both these bugs has been submitted to CVS. Will be seen by "port selfupdate" or "port sync" within 12 hours.

This ticket refers to an outdated version of libgnomecanvas. I am closing it "invalid" not because it was invalid at the time it was submitted, but because circumstances have invalidated it.
A new ticket should be opened against the current (2.16.0) version of libgnomecanvas.
