Port: atlas added; atlas3.8.3 removed

:error:checksum Target org.macports.checksum returned: atlas3.8.3.tar.bz2 does not exist in /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/atlas

Please try:

sudo port clean --all atlas
port clean --all atlas
sudo port install atlas

This was supposed to have been fixed in MacPorts 1.9.2. Verify you're actually running MacPorts 1.9.2.

No, My log fille looks like this:

So, in fact, the suggestion did help: you got past the problem in the checksum phase and are now experiencing a new problem, which may be the same as the one described in #26774 or #27640. Attach the complete main.log file so we can see which it is.

comment:6 Changed 13 years ago by vivek.menon79@…

The log file is about 11 MB. suggestions on how to attach it when the max limit is 1 MB ??

You can compress it with gzip.

I have attached a complete log (zipped). Thanks :) Apparently atlas is a pre-req for installing py26-numpy :(

comment:9 Changed 13 years ago by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt)

Thanks. Note that you can deselect py26-numpy's atlas variant if you don't want it to use atlas.

sudo port clean py26-numpy
sudo port install py26-numpy -atlas

Is this still a problem with atlas 3.9.33?

comment:11 Changed 13 years ago by Veence (Vincent)

I close it for now. Reopen it if it is still fails with 3.9.35.
