This looks mostly good, except that an hg tag doesn't make for a good version number because it's not an increasing number. Is there another number we could use as the version? A datestamp perhaps, failing all else? It would also be good to have some kind of livecheck that works.

So I updated the version to use that of the date and time.

As for the livecheck url, that doesn't seem so easy to do. On google code (http://code.google.com/p/plovr/source/list), the version hashes are displayed and not the revision numbers. Also, in order to use the date comparison, I would need to parse the string date into something comparable.

Any ideas on adding a livecheck?
