#33235 closed update (fixed)

update roll to 2.0.0

Reported by: singingwolfboy@… Owned by: matteocorti (Matteo Corti)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version:
Keywords: haspatch Cc:
Port: roll

Description

Since the roll port doesn't have "openmaintainer" listed as a maintainer, I'm submitting a ticket for the update of this port, instead of simply updating it myself. If the maintainer gives permission, I can commit this update myself.

Hi,

sure you can submit it, I maintain roll but not the port file. If help is needed I could also begin to maintain the port file but although I am a Mac user I was never involved in MacPorts. By the way: I am no longer using the gmail account actively (although it still works). You can update the maintainers email and URLs

David, are you going to commit this? The license formatting is incorrect BTW.

You listed yourself as the maintainer in the portfile you submitted in #16374. If you don't want the job that's OK, but you seem to have been doing fine in the past with e.g. #17654. :)

Ok it would be no problem. What do I need to do to "maintain" it. Just submit new port files as tickets? If more work is needed is there a quick quide?
