wxwidgets: update 2.8.12_0 < 2.8.12_1 fails

Running

sudo port selfupdate
sudo port upgrade outdated

I got a failure with wxwidgets (log attached).

I don't know if that is relevant, but before running sudo port upgrade outdated I uninstalled the R port and tried to install the R-framework port instead sudo port install R-framework. This also failed when trying to install the wxwindows port. In both cases there are linking errors (shell output attached) and the Rebuilding in order process is started (failing in the wxwidgets configure phase).

I'm on Mac OS X Build 11E53, Xcode 4.4.1 and I don't have the 10.6 SDK installed any more (must have been removed by one of the OS X or XCode updates I did in the past):
