"lib:" dependencies should usually not be used. They allow libraries installed outside of MacPorts to satisfy the dependency, and our policy is usually not to allow that. So "lib:libnetsnmp:net-snmp lib:libnetsnmpagent:net-snmp" should be changed to just "port:net-snmp", unless there is a special reason why net-snmp should be exempted from this policy.

Hello Ryan,

please see #37273 for the requested net-snmp change. Without the lib: dependency the net-snmp package needs to always build the server variant or add a -server subport that xsnmp can depend on.
