Description

After the recent ffmpeg update (r102088) and the corresponding revision bump (r102089) building bob fails. See the attached log.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I've created a corresponding ​ticket in our bug tracker. The problem seems to only affect an 'optional' submodule (DAQ) of bob. If you need a patch ASAP, please find it attached. However, be aware that I've NOT yet tested it, as I can't update macports on our shared OS X server right now.

Thanks once more for reporting this issue. The final patch from upstream is attached. Unfortunately, the patch is a little bit more extensive than I thought it would be, but it also addresses new issues we found with the new version of ffmpeg and a local fix for a recent problem with the new libsvm port as well: ​https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37862.

These patches have been already applied upstream and fully tested - upon your confirmation, we will close the respective bug reports.

Seems to work fine. Is the patch diff-fix-issue109-libsvm-bug.patch​ still needed after #37862 has been resolved? It builds fine without it. Please tell me if I should commit bob 1.1.2_2 with or without this patch.

Thanks for looking into this. The patch is needed so bob works OK independent of the system state.
