Description
After upgrading to Mavericks, I ran a "port upgrade installed" to refresh everything and it died updating itstool

Found the problem. The script is looking for "/usr/bin/gnutar" instead of "/usr/bin/tar" so a simple sym link fixed the problem for me. Probably need to update the package, though.

You just upgraded to Mavericks and didn't follow wiki:Migration. Your problem is explained right on top of wiki:MavericksProblems. Please remove the symlink and follow the proper procedures.
