#44131 closed defect (duplicate)

Searching available ports on site slightly broken

Description

Searching for ImageMagick turns up zero results.

Searching for gcc48 + gcc49 produce no results for compiler suite.

Searching is all that's broken. Doing 'port install package' works fine...

You just have to know the package name you're installing because many are missing.

This appears to have started 2-3 weeks ago.

Can you be more specific? What exact URL are you trying to search from? Searching in Trac works fine for me. I just searched for "ImageMagick" and got 977 results.

Selecting the "Available Ports" link on the left side of the main www.macports.org page and then entering "gcc4" into the search window turns up only the four ports below, none of which includes gcc43 through gcc49:

Agreed. For example, a search for gcc48 yields no results, although it obviously exists (port info gcc48).

Yes. This does appear to be a duplicate of #40946.

Thanks for the catch. I missed this completely.
