Description

Using these "prepare" and "configure" switches, mutt will work with gmail (imap):

--prefix=DIR --enable-imap --enable-pop --with-ssl --with-sasl --with-included-gettext --enable-nfs-fix

Has duplicate #47516.

You should use the +imap, +ssl, +sasl and +pop variants to get support for IMAP, SSL, SASL, and POP, respectively.
