Description

Meld is still depending on py36-gobject3, requiring to keep python36 installed while most everything else I have installed has been using python38. Can this be updated to depend on py38-gobject3?

I'm working on an update of meld to latest version 2.20.2 with python variants +python36 +python37 +python38 if that will work. Hope to make +python38 the default. Should have something in a few days.

meld: update to version 3.21.0, dependencies

  • update homepage to use https:
  • set default python to python38
  • skip build phase - everything occurs (again) in destroot
  • drop post-activate processing for outdated HighContrast icons
  • use gnome-with-unstable livecheck
