x265 or ffmpeg problem

Description

I've just upgraded x265 and this triggered ffmpeg to rebuild, but the configure step fails with:

":info:configure ERROR: x265 not found using pkg-config"

So I think this is x265 not ffmpeg.

OSX 10.13.6 + macports 2.8.0

$ port installed | grep x265

x265 @3.4_0+highdepth x265 @3.4_1+highdepth (active)

$ port installed | grep ffmpeg

ffmpeg @4.4.2_3+gpl2 (active)

Seeing same issue on Ventura (13.1)

Attached /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_multimedia_ffmpeg/ffmpeg/main.log
