Requires iptables though, so I'm not sure if it's likely.

It would be nice to see, but given this tool's heavy dependence on a facility that MacOS X doesn't have, the DarwinPorts project doesn't have the resources to do a relatively major rewrite.
Perhaps you could see if anyone in the frottle project on sourceforge is interested in taking it up. From a brief look at what it does, MacOS X's DIVERT sockets could possibly be used for similar functionality.
