NEW: JabberFoX-0.4.1

Description: JabberFoX is an OS-X (Aqua) client for the jabber IM protocol;

Portfile is here:

Comments: The install/destroot stuff in the Portfile are a mess, but the authors of JabberFoX have placed all the stuff together in one directory - at least they did in the source-code version... Besides the cosmetics - no real problems.

The portfile is missing, can you put it up again or upload it to bugzilla as an attachment?

I dont know why, but the pbxbuild of jabberfox now seems to fail due to unknown reason. Perhaps I've got some library problems I havent yet tracked down. I've put it back online, but would someone please have a try building it, before submitting? If it doesnt build, delete this bug, as jabberfox seems to be abandoned: It was updated last in March 2002.

I've built it OK, and in fact I have some patches (some from the sourceforge bug pages, some from me) for jabberfox so I wouldn't mind committing it. However, I was wondering if putting the plugins in /Library/JabberFoX was necessary, as they're already in /Applications/DarwinPorts/ ...

/Library/JabberFoX was the default path for JabberFoX to look for plugins, so I thought putting them there was a good idea. It would only need one configuration step for the user to specify the place of the phugins - perhaps its really better to put 'em in .../

The development of JabebrFoX seems to have stopped - no update for over 19 month; I don't believe this project will be revived anytime soon, so I abandon this Port.
