Description

I'm getting a failure to update the py27-numpy port. I've tried cleaning it and it still fails to update with a linker issue as noted in the attached log file.

this looks to be a duplicate of 58114

The problem and solution might be the same but 58114 is for python 3.7 and this is for 2.7.

Yes it is a duplicate of #58114.

You're right, but for purposes of tracking the issue and a fix, having it all on one ticket is useful. I'll put a note about that in the other ticket.
